Oooh! I cannot recommend Le Guin highly enough, especially the later short stories in the Hainish Cycle My favorite story for sedoretu is actually "Mountain Ways" in the short story collection Birthday of the World; "Unchosen Love" is the other one in that collection, and also excellent. The third story set on O (and I think the first that Le Guin wrote) is "Another Story" in the book Fisherman of the Inland Sea, which, again, I love. So it's a total canon of about eighty pages, which is less than daunting!
